Jake Parker Wymard - Trainer

Jake Parker Wymard brings a wealth of experience to the equestrian arena, boasting a versatile background in all three rings. His professional journey encompasses refining the skills of green broke prospects to navigating the challenges of the Green Hunters, International Derbies, and Grand Prix Jumpers.

Having qualified for and competed at events like Washington, Harrisburg, and Devon, Jake stands out for his disciplined training approach coupled with a keen empathy for each horse's individual needs. What sets Jake apart is his ability to forge a unique connection with his horses – they eagerly embrace their work, a testament to his blend of technical prowess and compassionate horsemanship. In every ride, Jake not only demonstrates skillful execution but also cultivates an environment where his equine partners thrive, making him a compelling force in the world of equestrian excellence.

As a junior, he qualified and competed at all major equitation finals, including the ASPCA Maclay Final Championships and Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final, as well as received top placings at U.S. Junior Hunter Championships.

Ginger Parker

Ginger Parker - Trainer

Ginger has trained horses and riders for both the Hunter/Jumper and Equitation rings for the last 20 years. Horses and riders in her program have competed at all major finals, including Pony Finals, Junior Hunter Championships, Washington, Harrisburg, and the National Horse Show. Ginger brings a wealth of experience in all facets of training and horsemanship to the program, always putting the horse first.

Ginger is a 1990 graduate of Bucknell University and a 1993 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law; Ginger is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. In 1983 through 1986, Ginger swept the Junior Hunter division with mount Sweet William, competing at all major events and qualifying for all finals.

Erika Sentz - Sales & Client Relations

Erika Sentz has played an intricate role in the sales program for the last 13 years. A graduate of American University, Erika brings a diverse marketing background to the team with agency as well as corporate experience on top of that in the equestrian world. She is typically the first point of contact for buyers, breeders, and clients, working behind the scenes to ensure each client has an extraordinary experience with the Ashcombe team. Erika also works closely alongside Ginger and Jake in supporting the development of young horses, putting the first rides on them and working with them until they graduate to the next phase in their career.
